劇情簡介/相關花絮：
《玩具總動員》第五集，《瓦力》、《海底總動員》安德魯史坦頓執導，肯娜哈里斯擔任聯合導演，並由《青春變形記》林賽柯林斯製作。
湯姆漢克斯再度回歸，為忠誠的牛仔胡迪配音；提姆艾倫繼續為巴斯光年獻聲；瓊庫薩克再次化身活力滿滿的牛仔女孩翠絲；東尼海爾也回歸，為手工玩具叉奇配音。
另外驚喜獻聲的還有康納歐布萊恩將飾演如廁訓練科技玩具「Smarty Pants」，而本次玩具最大威脅則是由葛莉塔李為莉莉板配音。
當然，經過了30年，玩具們雖然不會老化，仍敵不過時間的摧殘，在《玩具總動員5》裡，胡迪後腦勺竟多了一個圓形禿，肚子也出現了啤酒肚，對於外型上的改變，湯姆漢克斯解釋，「他（胡迪）被過度使用了，當你一次又一次地將塑膠帽子戴在塑膠腦袋上，總是會有地方磨損，而且他的身體是用填充物和布料做的，這些材料會隨著時間推移逐漸走樣。」
即使外貌變了形，玩具們的挑戰仍在持續，他們想保護小主人的決心也堅定不移。
在這一集的故事裡，原本遺落在各地的玩具終於重聚，面對小主人邦妮 生活中湧現的大量科技產品，他們也開始懷疑起自身的價值。
不過如同為翠絲配音的女星瓊安庫薩克所言：「我知道每個父母都會擔心自己的孩子，什麼時候讓他們接觸科技？這對他們的大腦又會產生什麼影響？這部 電影講的就是這些，也講述了人性和忠誠，同時它也讓我感動落淚。」
